A rough version of a black and white super 8 film shot with a Kodak Instamatic camera with tri-x reversal film and edited on a VHS system in 1990. Transferred to digital without any adjustments. The music was composed and performed by Ian Gittler.
Kurt Markus is a fashion photographer born and raised in Montana and is known for his black and white portraiture and fashion. He started his career photographing cowboys of the sagebrush basin - called Buckaroos. This film was made in 1989 in and around Elko Nevada. It stars Kurt Markus, Maria Markus, Tracey Grey, Max Pinnel, Mary Mize Rossi, Matesi, Jim, Waddie Mitchell and a handful of colorful cowboys in the american west.
